Cards still trump email
As an avid email user and an on-the-go mother and business owner, time is always of the essence. Sure Facebook now reminds us when birthdays are, but how personal is a post on your wall among 100 other people many of which you don’t have a REAL friendship with?
At first glance, I saw SendOutCards as another direct selling company with loads of benefits for everyone that “everyone should have”. It seemed like “more time” that I’d have to spend just to use the product. I thought my system of at the last minute, or 4 days late if at all was “working for me”.
Statics show that the average house hold will send out 30 greeting cards per year. At an average cost of $3.95 per card at your local greeting card store that is $118.50, plus sales tax, your time AND gas to get the card (which that alone will kill you) – then you have to consider the time and gas to mail the card.
For as little as $10 A MONTH, you can send 10 cards or 20 postcards plus the cost of postage. This makes sense as a mother AND as a business owner!! Now we are talking!
